Larry graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Larry began his career in 1972 with an international accounting firm and joined HLB in 1977. His areas of expertise are in taxation of financial institutions, real estate entities, manufacturing companies, and automobile dealerships.

Larry is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. He has served on the board of directors of The Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chattanooga and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners. He is a past president of The Epilepsy Foundation and Chattanooga Tax Practitioners.
