Scott Kolb is the Director of Business Development - Remarketing for United Road. He provides strategic business development services to the automotive, remarketing, and competitive bidding industries for the company. Scott focuses on serving customers and clients and delivering professional vehicle transportation and logistics services. He has been a student of the automotive, competitive bidding, and remarketing industries for over 25 years. His diverse career has included management assignments with Chrysler Financial, ServNet Auctions, Honda Financial Services, Auction Broadcasting Company, and The SKi Group. He also served as Executive Director of the Illinois Independent Automobile Dealers Association.

He is a certified, licensed, and bonded professional auctioneer and holds the highest designation in the auction industry; the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI). He also holds the Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) designation and the Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) professional designation. Scott is a lifetime member of the National Auctioneers Association and a founding and board member of the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance, as chair of the Education Committee and recipient of the 2005 IARA Remarketing Industry Award of Recognition. He is a nationally featured author, speaker, trainer and educator to the remarketing industry. As a “Scholar” for the Gerson Lehrman Group Automotive Council, he is widely recognized as one of the top powerbrokers in the remarketing industry.

Scott still plays and coaches competitive club lacrosse and soccer and enjoys reading and spending time with his faith, family, and friends.
